Privacy policy

Translation of the German version. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

This policy describes which personal data are processed when you visit this website and when you get in touch. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. In short

• No cookies, no trackers, no third-party analytics.
• Fonts and all other content are loaded from our own server; no data is passed to third parties when you visit a page.
• Personal data is neither sold nor used for advertising.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website and the email server run on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in the data centre in Helsinki, Finland. Finland is a member of the EU; the Swiss Federal Council recognises the EU as providing adequate data protection.

On every request the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, status code, the previously visited page (referrer) and browser and operating system (user agent).

Purpose: secure and stable operation, error analysis, defence against attacks and a server-side access statistic without cookies, whose evaluation never leaves the server. The legal basis under the GDPR is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Log files are deleted automatically after five weeks at the latest.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details (name, contact details, content of the enquiry) are used to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis under the GDPR is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f)). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed, subject to statutory retention obligations.

5. Disclosure

Personal data is only passed to the hosting provider named above, to the extent necessary for operation, or where there is a legal obligation.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. A request to legal@agentschmidt.com is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the supervisory authority of your place of residence.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
